Hello, welcome to my blog! My name is Marcie, aka MatchiN'ista.

I started this blog in October 2014 as a way to express my obsession passion for color coordinating outfits from HEAD. TO. TOE, and to share my other quirky life & style confessions! In all honesty, this blog has been in the making for quite a while, but it took me a while to muster up the courage to dive into the blogging world, but I'm ready for the experience!
Here's my first style confession: I don't know a single thing about fashion, in the technical sense. I do know how to color coordinate outfits and find the perfect matching accessories! I’m the gal you see walking down the street with color coordinated jewelry, patterned shoes with a belt to match, and my favorite, a scarf that ties an outfit together and makes color blocking possible for a MatchiN'ista.  I love patterns: plaid, houndstooth, paisley, polka dots, leopard, gingham and many others! Trends aren’t always my thing unless of course, I can pull together a perfect match!

So, now that you know I love perfectly matched outfits, I must make a confession:  I'm a new mom learning to embrace the "mismatches" that come along with being a MommiN'ista. I am fully aware that my control freak planning, need to know everything curious, to-do list making, perfectly matching attempting to perfectly match, self-has to practice letting go of the unknown in order to be the best mom that I can be. I'm talking about having to wear my hair up in a ponytail 99.9% of the time because there's  spit up in it, skipping the jewelry that matches my outfit because well, it was a rough morning, or accepting the bright green zebra patterned activity gym that my kiddos LOVE even though it doesn't "match" our living room! WHAT?!? Yes, I'm {learning to be} ok with the "mismatches "that come with the territory of being a new mom.

Follow along with me as I attempt to perfectly match outfits in my wardrobe and learn to embrace the "mismatches" that come with parenting so that I can enjoy life!
Happy matching!
